A representative of the RWSPEA holds a position on the Select Committee of Pension Policy whose role it is to study issues and policies affecting the state’s public employee’s retirement systems and make recommendations to the Legislature regarding changes.

There are normally two gatherings of retirees during the year.  One is held in the Phoenix, Arizona area in the early spring and the second is the annual business meeting held in Washington.  The annual meeting is normally a four day event for members and their spouses to socialize and conduct the annual business meeting.

This website is to provide a forum for communication, share information and above all, keep the membership informed.

Happy retirement to all retirees and looking forward to hearing from you on the membership side of our website.
